Question: How do you develop a solid leg position especially over fences?

Answer: I developed my leg from a lot of practice and training as a kid, which included riding without stirrups and sometimes without reins—also, riding bareback on ponies, trying to not fall off on the trails.

I'd definitely suggest riding without stirrups to get your core and balance better, and sometimes doing exercises on the lunge line without reins because then you don’t rely on your horse’s mouth for balance. Core strength will help the most for leg stability.
